Purpose The project clearly addresses earthquake safety before during and after an earthquake. The project is based on accurate and verifiable information. Opinion, or bias expressed is based in and supported by fact. Source information has been verified and documented. The purpose (to inform others about earthquake safety) is direct and meaningful. Script The script in a PSA is important in preparing the information to share with the audience. Students will practice this preparation by developing a script and storyboard before filming. The script must fit into a 4-6 minute video that addresses the dangers of earthquakes as well as what to do before, during, and after an earthquake. The video will also address the best materials for “earthquake proof” buildings. A minimum of two students take the acting role in the video. |
